Breaking Barriers on the Firing Line: The Ladies Behind A Gun Platform Shuffle Event Recap

Trying something new can be intimidating – especially in the shooting sports. Purchasing firearms, optics, and safety equipment is a significant commitment, and it is hard to invest in gear before knowing what feels right.

To solve that challenge, Ladies Behind A Gun hosted its very first Platform Shuffle Event at Live Fire Shooting Range. Designed specifically to let women “test the waters” without financial pressure, this inaugural all-women range day gave participants hands-on trigger time with diverse platforms in an ego-free, supportive environment.

Hands-On Experience, Professional Instruction, and Safe Fun

Our team brought our entire arsenal to the range, making a wide variety of rifles, shotguns, and handguns fully accessible to the public.

To ensure every participant felt confident, safe, and supported:

Dedicated Certified Instructors: Experienced shooting instructors staffed every bay, providing one-on-one guidance, stance adjustments, and real-time firearm safety instruction.

Platform Discovery: Attendees tried multiple calibers and firearm styles to determine what suited their grip, recoil comfort, and shooting goals.

Friendly Competition: The day featured a high-energy .22 Long Rifle Shootout, giving shooters a chance to test their accuracy and take home great prizes.
